About Us

Children of the Sea is a year-round swim school in Portland, Oregon. They specialize and developed a child-paced philosophy of what is today's Children of the Sea Water Safe Program. The company believes that every child (or adult) can be lovingly taught at an individual pace to overcome any obstacles to learning water safety. They also believe that learning to become a secure, technical and proficient swimmer not only masters life-saving skills, but can also accommodate good health, self-esteem and a life-time enjoyment of the water.
