Wonderful is what comes to mind! We took our son in for a couple of 1:1 and group sessions to try it out. Ms. Sandy was fun and encouraging when working with our son so we decided to enroll him as he really enjoyed the classes. If it were not for the great first impressions and positive attitude from Ms. Sandy we would not have enrolled. We were and continue to be pleased with the staff, my son thinks Mr. Austin is awesome and Ms. Hannah and Ms. Julie Ann are really nice. We have since enrolled in a longer contract for our son and my husband and I have also enrolled and go to the Krav Maga classes! Sandy, Mark and Randy are great and really make the classes enjoyable yet challenging. We have told, friends and co workers how great East West is and will continue to do so!

I have only wonderful things to say about our experience with East West! I have been so impressed with the way Mr. Jon and Mr. Austin keep all of the children focused, all of the staff individuals the way in which they assist each kiddo. Our son has OCD and ADHD, he has grown so much and worked so hard to succeed and to do well in his karate class. He especially enjoys sparring with Mr. Austin and doing his best forms for Mr. Jon. Thanks you!

East West has been great for my daughter Emily. When we started she had some opportunity in her behavior, and because of East West on the east side her behavior has greatly improved. As any child she still has trying times however they are far and few between. Also because of East West her confidence has improved! Thank you to all the coaches for your skill in working with young children! Her improvements are because of YOU!

My granddaughter has been a student at East West Martial Arts for a few years and the experience has been rewarding. She has excelled in fitness and self confidence in herself due to the Black Belt Instructors. The school has a wide focus on students with a variety of skill levels, ages, physical abilities and fitness levels. More than just learning martial arts, I like how they teach family values and life skills are also focused on during class. Such as bully awareness, respect, and responsibility to family and friends, excelling in school and helping in our community. What has impressed me is that the staff takes the time to get to know their students and families and make a personal connection. You don't just join a martial arts class, you join a family.

As a child therapist, I wish more of the children I work with had the opportunity to take classes at East West Martial Arts. The instructors are all excellent and do a great job of working to meet the individual needs of each child, even when the group is large. Martial arts provides children with a positive physical outlet that can help improve focus and self-esteem. Many parents are fearful of having their children learn martial arts due to the fighting aspect. I would encourage any parent to enroll their child in martial arts because the focus is not on fighting, but rather on increasing self-awareness and self-discipline.Justin Farrell, Licensed clinical social worker, Child Mental Health Specialist.
