About Us

Jaya Kula [Jai-yuh Koo-la] is a nonprofit community organization in Portland, Oregon. Jaya Kula offers monthly satsangs, kirtan, and on-going teachings for people learning how to integrate authentic Tantrik View and practice into their everyday lives.Grounded in the Indian tradition of Kashmir Shaivism and the teachings of Sat Guru Sri Anandamayi Ma, Jaya Kula exists to support its parishioners and all people in the natural process of unfoldment toward Self-realization. Shambhavi Sarasvati is the spiritual director.
