About Us

The Portland Kollel was formed as a means to help build a vibrant Jewish community. It strives to unite the Portland Jewish community through social activities, education, and spirituality based on traditional Jewish values. We offer on-going classes and individual learning opportunities in Jewish subjects. We assist and strengthen existing social projects for Jewish community members of all ages. Be it our social programs, or communal activities, each program is carefully designed to help fulfill your needs of the greater Jewish community. These Torah values, as well as ongoing classes and learning opportunities, are offered to all, regardless of background, affiliation, age or gender (hence our motto Torah for All).
