About Us

The Urban Spirituality Center is an offspring of Diversity as Gift, a Portland 501c3 Nonprofit Corporation. Diversity as Gift was founded by Jim Galluzzo, a teacher, Spiritual Director and trainer who saw a deep, unmet need for an urban center for spirituality.This is a peace-filled sanctuary within walking distance of the downtown offices. It is a place to calm, to center, to renew and to deepen connections.
